The Current Health Crisis and How Blockchain Can Help Prevent Future Pandemics

Today, the world is in a state of war against an invisible enemy, and battling the COVID-19 health crisis requires extra support  from not only health care workers, grocery employees and food banks, but other industries as well. 
Blockchain technology can provide solutions that can help limit the expansion of the virus.  Although blockchain cannot address  the impact of COVID-19 directly, the technology can certainly help when it comes to providing contactless transactions, worldwide  secured payments, supply chain visibility and medical records keeping. 
Indeed, we have witnessed several positive stories in which tech entrepreneurs are coming up with ideas and suggestions for  how to fight the pandemic spread using decentralization and blockchain.
